The BioHYBRITE training program is designed to span over ca. 6 weeks of online and on-site specific network-wide events. These events encompass:
- four specialised scientific schools, covering multidisciplinary topics directly relevant to the network scientific objectives;
- four international networking symposia (also called meet-ups), featuring talks by prominent scientists and presentations by the Doctoral Candidates;
- an online Journal Club, where you will engage to enhance comprehension and critical assessment of pertinent scientific literature, serving as a self-help group and platform for knowledge exchange;
- intersectoral training in transferable skills and personal/career development, including presentation and communications skills, project management, career planning, good scientific practice, innovation and entrepreneurship, IP strategies, science communication and outreach activities;
- inclusion and wellbeing, with sessions focusing on gender equality, diversity and mental health.

Through this rich and diverse qualification program, BioHYBRITE will form the next generation of innovative, highly skilled, well-connected scientists in this forefront field of hybrid bottom-up nanotechnology and prepare them for future scientific and engineering challenges, while enhancing the Doctoral Candidates career perspectives and research profiles currently in high demand by both academia and high-tech industries, and especially the emerging bio-nano start-up scene.
