Designing Sensors, Interactions and action in Bionano-Systems

Hybrid structures from DNA, RNA and proteins have the potential to not only construct and decode, but also to act autonomously in complex environments. Action involves sensing, data processing and the creation of an output. With this work package we will explore strand displacement reactions combining RNA, DNA and proteins.
